Ricardo Baeza-Yates is a Professor of the Practice at Northeastern University’s Institute for Experiential Artificial Intelligence. He previously served as CTO of NTENT and VP of Research at Yahoo Labs, where he founded and led labs in Barcelona, Santiago, Haifa, and London. He is also a part-time professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain and Universidad de Chile. Baeza-Yates co-authored the widely acclaimed textbook Modern Information Retrieval and has over 600 publications. An ACM and IEEE Fellow, he has received numerous awards, including the Graham Medal for innovation and the CLEI Latin American distinction for contributions to computer science.
This event, supported by RAi UK, brings together experts from mental health, AI, public health, and psychology to discuss the responsible use of AI in the mental health sector.
